Welcome to

PurrBabiesRUs Cattery!

We’re Greg and Peggy D’Armand, the hearts and hands behind PurrBabiesRUs. Greg has loved and cared for cats his entire life — in fact, he can’t remember a time when he didn’t have a feline friend by his side. Years ago, he ran a small Himalayan cattery, and today, he shares that same knowledge and devotion with our beloved Maine Coons.

Becoming a Maine Coon cattery wasn’t part of our original plan. But once we met these magnificent, gentle giants, we couldn’t resist their charm. Our journey started with a hard lesson — our first attempt to purchase through Facebook ended in a scam. As my mom always said, “A lesson well taught is a lesson well learned.”Determined to move forward, we discovered that finding Maine Coons with breeding rights locally was a challenge. That led us to import our first kittens from Russia and Belarus — each with exceptional lineage and breathtaking features. Soon, two more joined our family, and with love and care, they blossomed into the stunning cats they are today.

We’ve since built strong relationships with other reputable catteries, exchanging ideas, sharing knowledge, and supporting each other in our shared goal — raising healthy, well-socialized Maine Coons. Networking has strengthened our own practices and helped us produce kittens of outstanding health, beauty, and temperament.

Our cattery is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. We groom our cats weekly to prevent matting, disinfect their spaces regularly, and provide them with a safe, loving environment. While many catteries understandably limit visitations, we believe in allowing new families to meet and hold their future purrbabies — fostering a bond that benefits both kitten and parent.

This is not a business for us — it’s a passion. Running a reputable cattery takes far more than most people realize, but every moment is worth it. For us, it’s about love, joy, and the special connection these gentle giants bring into people’s lives.
